Terms of Use — MGKidsShadow
MGKidsShadow by Martin Grey LLP
Effective 29 October 2026
1. Who we are
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Martin Grey LLP ("we", "us"), a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales under number OC457668, with its registered office at First Floor, Office 3, Hornton Place, London W8 4LZ, United Kingdom, which operates the MGKidsShadow shadow-matching game (the "App"). By downloading or using the App you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If the App is used by a child, a parent or legal guardian accepts these Terms on the child's behalf. If you downloaded the App from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; section 10 explains Apple's role.
2. Licence
The App, its pictures, sounds and music belong to Martin Grey LLP or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices that you own or control, as permitted by the rules of the App Store or Google Play from which you downloaded it. Do not copy, modify, resell or reverse engineer the App except where the law allows this.
3. Free and paid content
Two worlds are free. The optional "Full Access" purchase unlocks all worlds. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, so there are no recurring charges. The purchase is tied to the store account used to buy it; on the App Store it is also available to your family through Family Sharing. If you reinstall the App or use another device signed in to the same store account, use "Restore Access" in the "For Parents" menu.
Users who bought the earlier yearly subscription keep access while that subscription is active; it can be managed or cancelled in the store account settings.
4. Payments and refunds
Payment is processed by Apple or Google. Refunds are handled by the store under its refund policy: for the App Store at reportaproblem.apple.com, for Google Play through your Google Play order history.
5. No accounts, no data
The App does not require registration and does not collect personal information. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Links and other apps
The "For Parents" menu contains links to rate the App, to our website and to our other apps. They are behind a parental gate. We are not responsible for websites and stores we do not control.
7. Changes to the App
We may update, change or stop offering the App or parts of it, including its worlds and pictures. We will not remove content you have paid for from the version installed on your device.
8. No warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss. Our total liability for all claims relating to the App or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim arose and 100 US dollars. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, these Terms do not affect your statutory rights.
10. Apple
- These Terms are between you and Martin Grey LLP only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App.
- If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- If a third party claims that the App or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use the App.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you have a problem, please contact us first, and we will try to resolve it informally. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version is published at www.martingrey.app and in the App with a new effective date.
